Terms of Use

RETIAS (Real Time Interview Assistant) provides AI-powered coaching tools for interviews, mock interviews, online assessments, resume optimization, and related productivity features. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan (Free, Premium, or Premium Plus). We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information
• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Not sharing one account across multiple people or devices where restricted by the Service

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through Paystack unless stated otherwise. By subscribing, you authorize us and Paystack to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period.

• Prices and plan features are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled
• You may cancel through your account settings or by contacting support; cancellation stops future charges but does not automatically refund the current period unless required by law
• We may suspend or downgrade access if payment fails

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or third-party terms (including employer, school, or platform rules)
• Attempt to bypass security, access controls, subscription limits, or device-binding restrictions
• Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content except as permitted by law
• Upload malware, spam, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
• Share account credentials or commercially exploit Premium or Premium Plus features
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others

You are solely responsible for how you use RETIAS and for ensuring your use complies with the rules of any interview, employer, educational institution, or assessment platform.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate transcripts, suggestions, and answers. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your specific situation.

You must review all AI-generated content before relying on or submitting it. RETIAS does not guarantee that answers will be correct, undetectable, or accepted by any interviewer or platform. You use AI output at your own risk.

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as CVs, transcripts, and screenshots). You grant RETIAS a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service, including sending it to AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

RETIAS, its logo, software, design, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the Service in normal operation.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or if we reasonably believe your use poses risk to the Service or others. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, but sections that by nature should survive (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR INVISIBLE TO SCREEN SHARING OR PROCTORING TOOLS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RETIAS AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OPPORTUNITY, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RETIAS and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where RETIAS operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
